Water Treatment Installation – Jacksonville Northside, FL

A homeowner in Jacksonville’s Northside needed a full water treatment upgrade along with improved water quality throughout the home. Our team completed a comprehensive project to enhance both the well system performance and water quality.

We began by shutting down the system and removing the existing primary pump and pressure tank, along with disconnecting and draining the aerator. The existing plumbing was cut out, and we re-piped the water line from the well to the secondary pump to ensure a solid foundation for the upgraded system.

Next, we installed a new iron/sulfur filtration unit and water softener, including the brine tank with salt added as required. Proper discharge lines were installed for both systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Once installation was complete, we restored water service, purged air from the system, and thoroughly tested all components. Both treatment units were powered on, with settings and timers adjusted for optimal performance. The system is now operating efficiently with no leaks, and water quality has been significantly improved throughout the home.

With customer approval, we also adjusted the water heater temperature from 130°F to 140°F to better meet the household’s needs.
